Did You Know?

According to wikipedia, Carnival Glass was a cheap, iridescent, molded or pressed glass often given away as promotions at carnivals, movies and grocery stores in the early 20th Century. But it was also reasonably priced and for the ordinary home to afford.

It was eventually produced on every continent except Africa, but mostly in the U.S. All the major European glass making centers except Italy produced some and it was very popular in Australia.

Did YOU know that?

Again, taking photos of glass is very difficult. But hopefully, you'll forgive us for that. Keep in mind, we're always looking to sell AND buy.
